After taking a Euroexam, the completed exam scripts are returned to the Euroexam International Exam Centre for marking. Candidates will receive their results after 30 days and certificates a week later.

After the Exam

Marking and Reliability

  • All written scripts are returned for double-marking by independent examiners* in the UK and Euroexam's regional centre in the EU.
  • Speaking tests are recorded and transferred electronically for marking by oral examiners in the UK and Europe. Our team of native English speaking interlocutors and invigilators who supervise the examinations take no part in the marking or assessment process.
  • All Euroexams are calibrated before and after every exam sitting to ensure the reliability of each round of the exam.

*All examiners are accredited by Euroexam International and must undergo regular training and moderation, to ensure that grades are awarded in accordance with the levels of the CEFR and the requirements of Euroexam International.

Results and Notification Procedures

  • Results are available 30 days after each exam day. Local Authorised Examination Centres will inform candidates of their results. Candidates who registered centrally (online and paper-based exams) through the Euroexam International website will be notified of their results directly from the Euroexam International Exam Centre.
  • Candidates will receive one of three possible grades: 1) Pass with Distinction; 2) Pass; 3) Fail. The overall result and component test results are presented as a percentage.
  • All successful candidates will be awarded the Euroexam International Certificate.
  • The overall official scores will be shown on the certificate.

Getting your Euroexam International Certificate

Euroexam International Certificates are distributed 7 days after Results Notification. Certificates are sent to Euroexam Authorised Examination Centres who inform candidates on how and when they will receive their certificates. Please contact your Local Authorised Examination Centre for further information. Candidates who registered centrally will be informed how they will receive their certificates directly from their local Authorised Examination Centre.

Exam Rules and Regulations

The Examination Regulations document is the most important and useful official guide for anyone preparing for a Euroexam. It contains all the details you need to know about the registration process, your obligations before and your rights after the exam, what happens on exam day and how the tests are assessed. By registering for the exam, you agree to accept our Examination Regulations.

You can download the Examination Regulations document from here in pdf.
